Our routes are:
Bodrum, or to call it with its ancient name, Halikarnassus, is the birth place of Herodotus and is the home to many ancient civilizations. In addition to being the original location of the Halikarnassus Moseleum, one of the seven wonders of the world, its position in or near so many of the great civilizations and events of ancient history makes Bodrum an important site for historians.
Bodrum has been declared a historic preservation zone and has a special architecture (houses are generally white-washed and cannot exceed two stories to harmonize with the traditional environment). Today Bodrum has become an extremely fashionable holiday resort. It is a starting point for cruises in the Gökova Gulf , and to discover the numerous beautiful bays of the peninsula. A car ride helps visit the region, see the disused old windmills lining the ridge of hills, and enjoy the atmosphere of seaside and fishing villages: Gümüslük , Gündogan , Gölköy , Türkbükü with their friendly taverns and seafood restaurants, Yalikavak with its typical streets...

Miletus, the prosperous ancient city located at the crossroad of Anatolian Trade routes, had four ports that developed on the coast and at the mouth of the Meander River (Büyük Menderes).
Miletus produced geniuses like philosophers Thales, Anaximander, Anaximenes, town planner Hippodamus who all lived around 6C B.C., and Isodorus of Miletus who lived in the 6C A.D. The theatre , of Hellenistic origin, had a seating capacity of 5,300 people. In the 2C A.D. it was modified by the Romans who enlarged it to a capacity of 15,000 people. It is one of the most important monuments of Miletus.
Didyma was not a city but a sanctuary linked to Miletus by a Sacred Road. Here, was a renowned prophecy temple dedicated to Apollo where crowds of pilgrims came to consult the oracle.
Ancient port of the Ionian confederacy , today 15 km/9.5 miles away from the sea, the splendid site of Priene is located at the foot of Mount Mycale, and overlooks the alluvial plain formed by the Meander River . The site that dates back to the 5 C B.C., spreading among olive trees, is of great interest due to the fact that it is laid out on a grid plan ,also called hippodamian plan, named after the architect of the city ,Hippodamus of Miletus.
Yalikavak is a charming village near Golkoy, famous for its small seaside fish restaurants and its local bazaar held on Tuesdays every week. Bazaar, called as "pazar" in Turkish, is an open market where local goods are sold by villagers. The goods vary from fresh and organic vegetables, fruits, spices, cheeses, delicious locally grown olives to Bodrum fabrics, clothes, bags etc. Wandering in the bazaar even if you are not buying anything is a real pleasure, feeling the local atmosphere and observing a visual feast.
Gumusluk is a small village in the Bodrum peninsula. The scenery from this village is spectacular and is probably the best location to watch the sunset. At the lively fish restaurants by the seaside, you can actually choose the fish you would like to be cooked and wait for it to be served as you taste the delicious Aegean starters.
Situated at the head of Latmian Gulf, Heraclia was called Latmus at the beginning taking its name from the impressive mountain reaching the height of 1300 meters above the sea level. Heraclia, which was located at the head of the gulf never, became an important city it was far from the popular trade road running form Ephesus to Miletus. The Latmian Gulf turned into Bafa lake as the water flow was blocked by the earth Meander river carried throughout the years. Miletos captured most of the sea borne trade. Although it was located in Ionia, Heraclia was a Carian city in character and its history was formed by the events of Caria.
Çomakdag, a famous village for keeping their traditions as they were for centuries. The architecture of the houses are also unique and worth seeing. The wedding ceremonies of the village are very famous lasting for three days the least.
