D-Marin Turgutreis International Classical Music Festival

The second D-Marin International Classical Music Festival will be held at D-Marin , Turgutreis.
The festival whose art direction is made by Kemal Küçük, will host four different symphonic orchestras on four different days. During the festival which will turn the coasts of Bodrum into the centre of classical music, there will be 2 concerts each day, one at sunset and one at night, a total of 8 concerts.
The first day of the festival, “Mozart Evening” is organised
in memory of Mozart’s 250th birthday. The same night, Bilkent Symphonic
Orchestra directed by Gürer Aykal will accompany Güher & Süher
Pekinel Sisters performing with the theme of “ Power of Love”.
The soloists of Bolsoy-Kirov-Münih-Madrit, and the love dances by Grand
Pa de Deux will also alluer the audience.
The other world wide known soloists of the festival are Anjelika Akbar, Elif
Yurdakul, Cihat Askin, llya Gringolts, Jiri Barta and Gülsin Onay. Besides
Bilkent Symphonic Orchestra, Izmir State Symphonic Orchestra, Cemal Resit
Rey Symphonic Orchestra and the first children’s symphonic orchestra,
Dogus Children’s Symphonic Orchestra will also play during the festival.
All announcements will be made both in Turkish and English. The Greek islands
Kos, Kalimnos and Laros will also be officially invited to the festival and
boat trips will be organised for those who would like to come to the festival
from these islands.
